As our motto: “Preserving Life’s Moments” would indicate, the Lasting Impressions Philosophy is all about preserving your artwork, be it a child’s crayon drawing or a work of fine art. It is our belief that appropriate care should be taken to not only help preserve your artwork but also to allow the display of the artwork in a pleasing manner.
In order to implement this philosophy we made a business decision to only use the best materials possible and where appropriate to use conservation framing methods. Under this implementation, we only carry the highest quality real wood and metal mouldings. Additionally, all of our matte boards are either 100% cotton rag or alpha cellulose and all are museum quality. Our 100% rag mattes are guaranteed by the manufacturer and they will replace any matte board that fails, as long as the framing package remains intact. We do not carry any paper mattes which can harm artwork nor do we carry MDF or polycore mouldings.
