Lasting Impressions Picture Framing

The Lasting Impressions Story

Lasting Impressions was first started by Jim Primmer as a fine art photography company. After spending 28 years in the high tech field, Jim decided it was time for a change.  As he had been taking framing courses through the Andover Massachusetts school system, and having worked for over a year for a regional picture framing company during layoffs from high tech, Jim decided to go into business for himself.  After researching different sites in the Merrimack Valley and determining the need for framing services, Jim decided to open his shop in one of the old mills in the historic district of Lawrence Massachusetts. The shop was designed by Jim to have a “living room” feel to it and furnished the design area with oriental carpets and antique furniture. This decor works well with the Lasting Impressions philosophy of quality.

On May 10, 2004, Lasting Impressions Picture Framing opened on the second floor of The Cotton Weaving House.  As an individual and as the owner of both Lasting Impressions Photography and Lasting Impressions Picture framing, Jim remains very involved with the arts in the mill district and the surrounding area, and provides framing services for many local artists and businesses.  Lasting Impressiosns is currently located in Andover, Massachusetts.
