Canvas Transfers

Canvas transfer is the process of converting a paper image to canvas thereby rendering the look and feel of a painted image. If requested, brush strokes may be added to the image to give a more realistic “painted” look.

The Canvas Transfer Process:

There are 5 steps involved in doing a canvas transfer

  1. The image is adhered to a laminate.
  2. The paper backing is stripped from the image.
  3. The laminated image is mounted onto a special canvas that is coated with an adhesive.
  4. The resulting canvas is streched as an oil painting would be.
  5. The stretched canvas is framed.

As an optional step before framing, brush strokes may be added to the image.
